Psychosocial Hazards


Description
Psychosocial hazards can cause psychological and physical harm. On average, work-related psychological Injuries have longer recovery times, higher costs, and require more time away from work. Managing the risks associated with psychosocial hazards not only protects workers, but it also decreases the disruption associated with staff turnover and absenteeism and may improve broader organisational performance and productivity.
Includes discussion on new industrial manslaughter laws soon to be introduced into South Australian Law.

The course is aimed at all members of organisations who want an overview of Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and their personal responsibilities and penalties regarding psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
